REMEMBERING

I can't believe it has been 5 years since I posted on my blog.  I was looking through some old documents I had saved from Blogger and Trip Advisor, when I ran across all the kind and caring comments that many of my blog watchers had left for me regarding my Daughter's passing.  It brought tears to my eyes, to  be reminded  people cared and were showing so much sympathy for someone they had never even met in person. I felt a need to see if any of you are still around, and how you are.

I let being on Facebook take up all my time and my Blog slid to the side.  I hope to remedy that and begin posting often again, if anyone is still interested in our little island and our crazy life here.

Our dog Puffin is still going strong!  Well, he does sleep most of the time since he is 8 years old now and doesn't play as much .

Both the parrots are still living and loud as ever.  They frequently are threatened with their lives if they don't quit making so much noise, but that's as far as it goes.  :) So our goofy life continues.

Family still comes to visit often to make our lives complete.  The two of us have encountered numerous health issues, but are both still kicking!

I thought I would post a few photos I took one evening last week, when we were at Resident Access #5, just to get back into the swing of things.

The weather lately has been wonderful.  Cool nights and warm days.  Sometimes a little chilly wind creeps in, but we like the change.

Please bare with me while I relearn how to use the changes in Blogger.  I will be posting more if all goes according to plan.

Hi Tootie, how nice to see your post! I was thinking about you the other day on Barb/Snowbird's birthday, missing you both for different reasons. I found my one and only rose tellin when I was on a beach with you. :) I miss those beaches a lot and my house is still filled with shells I collected over the years.

I am still alive and kicking, too. I got married a few weeks ago, my adorable grandchilden are still adorable but much older now, and I have retired. Lots has changed for all of us, I'm sure. But you and your post brought a smile and many fond memories for me. :)

I haven’t blogged in years either. Still check out other blogs from time to time. Couldn’t believe it when I saw you had posted. Would love to see you blogging again. I miss your cloud photos! I still think of you when I see a sky full of great clouds.
