At resident access 1, off West Gulf Drive, there weren't very many people. There was one lady shelling, a couple of ladies walking, a couple who were walking their dogs, and two guys fishing. That sounds like I should add something like 'and a pelican in a pine tree' to the end of that. :-) The water is still very clear. There weren't a lot of shells and what was there, were all small. I didn't pick up any.

Just before leaving the beach, I noticed one of the fishermen had something on his line. After a while, he pulled in a nice size fish, around 20 inches long. After measuring it, he released it.
There was a pretty rainbow to look at, on the way from the beach.
Tonight, a little after 10:00 it started raining and it lasted for about an hour. I guess every little bit helps. There is a chance of rain, for the next several days. I hope that means that the rainy season has begun.
These are the shells that were picked up yesterday, during the 'Turtle Walk'. Most of them are very small.

Nice, I love the dramatic skies and always love the mini shells! I have only found one limpet and broke that one on the way home, and only one nice lace murex, so looks like a good haul to me!
That happens here alot, Tootie. We will get REALLY cloudy and the wind will pick up... YET--no rain!!!! Oh Well.
Love your photos especially the rainbow one and the sunset one. WOW!!!
Thanks!
Hugs,
Betsy
All of your sky shots are dramatic and beautiful. I'm glad you got some rain and I hope you (and we) will get more in the days ahead.
Ohhh I love the clouds in that top picture! We have storms rolling in right now... I'm watching lightening out my window... don't know if they will get close enough to give us rain or not - but I hear thunder and get the light show as it's after 10 pm and very dark! Hubby's hoping for no rain though as we've had a lot and the grass keeps growing - but he never gets to CUT it cuz it's too wet!
