The video and photos were taken at resident access 5 off of West Gulf Dr this evening. The high today was only 79 degrees and there was a steady cool breeze. The water is still really clean and clear and there were some small shells at the water's edge and also on two of the high tide lines. The beach seems to be getting back to normal again, as the busy season comes to a close.

What beautiful photos! I am really enjoying your Sanibel blog. We have exactly a month til we will be in Sanibel. I can't wait! Thanks for posting these wonderful shots!
Hi Tootie, Beautiful pictures as usual. I love seeing the sunset while on the beach. We'll leave for NC (Ocean Isle Beach) on the 2nd for a week--and I'm looking forward to it so much...
I am a retired, grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island.
My blog was created to share some of the beauty I see around me each day. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular. I will post pictures now and then, that I snap quickly with my cellphone.
Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy my adventures and come back to visit often.

You are so blessed to live there! I told my husband I could live there forever and be happy as a clam... Texas is just not the same ;)
