The low temperature here last night was 45, so I wasn't in a big hurry to go on the beach until it warmed up. I did go this afternoon, and there were some shells. I picked up jingles and kitten paws for a friend. I found one small banded tulip, a couple of turkey wings, a buttercup, and some calico clams. The high today was 74, but the wind was getting chilly again late this afternoon. Hopefully it will get up to 78 that is predicted for tomorrow.

Hi Tootie, Thanks for answering my other question. I don't know that area, but I'm glad to hear that the area where the hurricane went ashore is getting back to normal.
Looks like you got some great shells today... I would love to visit there sometime and look for shells. We get shells when we go to the beach in NC--but your shells are MUCH nicer.
Hugs,
Betsy
As usual I enjoyed your videos of the ocean. - Dave
Not too long after I moved to Michigan, we went to see Lake Michigan. It was an odd experience for me, having grown up near the ocean.
There were NO shells on the sandy beach. none!
It warmed up here too Toot! To a whopping 42. I went without a coat today it was so lovely :)
