Sanibel Saturday Wave Action
A cold front is still passing through, but our low temperature for today was 70 degrees and a high of 77. There was windy and the waves were much taller than the photos and videos, make them appear. The beach in front of Pointe Santo was eroding. There was a drop off in places of a foot or more. Tomorrow it is supposed to be a little cooler.

I stopped at access #1 after I left that place I can't mention. Man, I couldn't believe the waves. I actually could hear them from my house. Hopefully the shells will start rolling in.
I'd love to have a HIGH of 70. :-)
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. We just stayed at Pointe Santo, saw the same mermaid and starfish, there are some talented people there. I feel so lucky to have been visiting sanibel for the past 10 years, I know you must feel blessed to live there. Looking forward to checking up on Sanibel via your blog.
That's about as much wave action as I've seen on your blog. I hope the beach erosion wasn't too bad, although any at all is bad enough.
