Sanibel Monday Morning Blues?

I hope each of you got your week started off without the 'Monday Morning Blues.'  I know I did.  Starting with meeting friends for a late breakfast at the Sanibel Cafe, then driving over San Carlos Bay by way of the Sanibel Causeway.  Even though the trip was only for grocery shopping, there was nothing blue about my day, except the sky and the water.  The temperature was a very pleasant 80 degrees when we left the Cafe and only made it to the mid 80's this afternoon.  There was a nice NNW wind to go along with the beautiful sunshine, and best of all, there were some nice big clouds floating around.

The view as we approached the causeway.

This evening I went to the beach at resident access 6 on West Gulf Drive.  There were some shells left at the high tide line, but not much coming in.
I only picked up one big Buttercup and
a couple of Coquinas.

There weren't many people around until
the sun was about to set.
