Windy Sanibel Monday

Today was hot and windy. It got up to 90 degrees with 20 mile an hour gusts of wind out of the West. The water temperature is also 90.

This evening we were at the beach off West Gulf Drive and Resident Access 2. There were small shells scattered about from the hightide line down to the edge of the water. The only shell that caught my eye was a tiny orange scallop.

There are several sea turtle nests in this area, you can see 3 of them in one of the photos.
