Foggy Sanibel Friday

No, I don't mean "Foggy Friday" as in the day immediately following "Thirsty Thursday", when things seem "foggy" due to being slightly hung over from the previous evening.

I mean foggy, as in areas of dense fog, caused from our warm, humid air and an approaching cold front.  That means some cooler weather this weekend, but things should be warming up again on Monday.

Early this evening we went across the Sanibel Causeway to Ft Myers.  The skies varied from sunny and blue, to hazy or dense fog, depending on which direction you were looking.

By enlarging the photo, you can barely see the two tall buildings in the distance.

Ft Myers Beach is hidden behind dense fog.

On the way back we could see bright sunshine until we reached the Sanibel Causeway.  There we were met by dense fog, no sunshine and you couldn't even see the water from the highest bridge.  It was like that until we reached spoil island B.  The fog was gone and the sun was peeking through the clouds.
