This evening I took puppy to the beach, at Gulfside City Park, for a short time. The setting sun was hiding behind the clouds, making the sky beautiful pastel colors. It was up to 73 degrees today and it was still warm enough on the beach to be in shorts and t shirt.
There were plenty of shells around, I just couldn't do the Sanibel Stoop, with the puppy in my arms, so that I could see them. I only picked up 3 minis. I've ordered a front puppy pack, so when that arrives, we'll see how that works out. I'm hoping it will leave my hands free and allow me to bend over. I seriously doubt that Puffin is going to like it. All he wants to do is get loose and run, dig in the sand and eat junk. :)
There were a lot of shells out in the water and
I saw a few people walking in it searching. A wave came up over my feet a couple of times and the water didn't feel real cold. If I saw a prize shell out there, I would have definitely gone after it. :)

Clouds make for some fascinating and colorful sunsets, and you captured some interesting skies. I'll be interested in hearing how Puffin reacts to the front pack.
Beautiful clouds...I'll bet Puffin steals the beach show though. I can just see him racing through the sand...
Tootie-if you get a minute pop over to my blog and check out your little friend, SweetCheeks wedding pictures and find out where I am going to sit at her wedding. You will get your smile for the day.....and if you DO pop by-turn your sound on- Have a wonderful Sanibel day.Hugs- Diana
Hi there, I'd love to see a picture of Puffin... Maybe you posted it and I have missed it.
Can't wait to see how Puffin likes the front pack... I'm sure he would much rather play in the sand... ha
Great pictures... I love seeing the beach when there are clouds around.
Hugs,
Betsy
How beautiful -- counting down the days until we're in sunny Sanibel! (well actually it's months and weeks -- oh well) Your little Puffin is adorable!
The part about Puffin eating junk just made me almost spit out my coffee! Aren't puppies fun? =)
How about I come and hold Puffin so you can shell to your heart's delight!! My dream has been to find a lions paw. On the beach not in the store. But, I have been told, I would have to dive offshore for one of those beauties. Pretty soon Puffin will be leash-trained. Have fun. Peace. Brianne
I like your sky and sea shots Tootie.
And you shell photos make a good desktop wallpaper - Dave
You are definitely going to have to take a photo of you with Puffin in the front pack. How cute that will be!
Hi Tootie! Be sure to check out my blog today. I left something there for you, sweet friend! :)
