Winter Clouds Above Sanibel

If you have followed my blog for the past couple of years, you have seen our special turtle, that was named Jake, given to us by my daughter Becky.  We've had a lot of laughs with the entire family over Jake.  He has sent many birthday and holiday wishes, along with other silliness.

Today was no exception, after a shower of rain, Jake put on his Christmas hat and started singing Christmas Carols.

He was so happy when the sun came out to warm up our afternoon and evening.  I checked just before dark and he was still swinging.

This evening I had to make another crossing to finish Christmas shopping.  The clouds seemed to be looming overhead to bring cooler weather again.

This is San Carlos Bay in winter.

But, cooler temperatures don't stop
people from having fun.

I thought it was actually pretty nice out.  I ran in and out of stores wearing short sleeves and was comfortable.  But sadly we have colder weather coming again tonight.

The turtle is awesome. As are you. {{hugs}}

I hope that cold goes right on by and nothing suffers. I hope your "winter" is over soon.

If the weather we're having is headed your way it is going to be down right cold on Sanibel. I like Jake.

Jake rocks the Santa hat!

I'm already begging the hubs for a trip down south, we had a blizzard here and then a lake effect snow on top of that!

Stay warm sweet lady!
