This afternoon I went to the beach on East Gulf Drive at a resident access by The Colony.
The clouds were very pretty, there was a strong SSE breeze and the temperature was 83, at the time. The shelling wasn't great. I didn't pick up any shells to bring home today, but it was just nice to be out on the beach.

Hi Tootie. I was interested to find and read your "Treasures from the Sea" blog tonight. It answered some of my questions as to what you do with the shells you collect.When I was a young child my Dad was in the New Zealand Army during WW2 in the Pacific and one day he brought me home a medium bag of beautiful shiny shells. I got a lot of pleasure playing with them. - Dave
I really like those bright white clouds in your first few pictures. We're expecting our first freeze tonight, so I'm trying not to be envious of your warm temperatures!
It's amazing to me to see those beaches deserted, Tootie. You must sure enjoy that quiet time when you're there.....so beautiful.....
