Perfect Sanibel Wednesday

I spent part of the day cleaning inside the house.  Each time I stepped out onto the deck, I wanted to stay outside.  It was a perfect day; low was 66 and the high temperature 83 with 58% humidity.  I would be happy with that all year long.

This afternoon we drove over to Publix for some groceries.  As we went across the Sanibel Causeway, there were a lot of kite and sail activities going on.  There were not many people on the spoil islands, other than those involved in skimming over the water, but it looked like they were having a great time.

This evening we went to the
Nerita Street beach access, where
we were met by a cool breeze!

There were some small shells, and after looking carefully, we picked up a few to take home.

There were more people on the beach
at the east end of the island than we have
been seeing recently on the west end.

Four pelicans crashed into the water
at the same time.  I think dinner
was being served.

Hi Tootie! THAT is certainly perfect weather for Sanibel shelling! :) Just heavenly! That's usually the type of weather we have when we're there in the spring, and just love it. I'm going to tell you again how much I LOVE your photos of the beach, Tootie. I get tears in my eyes whenever I see them, and I can hear the sound of the ocean waves on the shore.....
