This was a beautiful day and I could feel Fall in the air; yes I think we do have a Fall season. Maybe not like places up north, but I like it. The temperature went from a low of 68 during the night, to a high of 85 today with 60% humidity. It was so nice that it made me want to stay outside. I'm loving this time of year. The island is still quiet and peaceful with little traffic and at the beach, you have it all to yourself most of the time.
This evening we went to resident access 3 on West Gulf Drive. The photos below will show you just how it was. There may have been better shelling at other times during the day, but what I saw at the high tide line was broken or nothing I wanted. At the water's edge, I still picked up nothing. It was perfect for walking. The tide was out, making walking in the water just perfect.

Our first visit to Sanibel was a little later in October. Debbie and I mistakenly thought that it was always that quiet.
These pictures show a perfect day at the beach. I wish I was there.
LOVE the off season!! Nice fall weather and no crowds! Happy day!
I hope to someday visit Sanibel this time of the year. I long to be there now. :-)
Do you ever tire of going to the beach? I don't think I would.
Thanks for sharing your beach walks.
