Today we went to access 3 off of West Gulf Drive again. It was sunny and about 71 degrees today. The island is really busy this time of year because of spring breaks. I'm sure the visitors this week will be very happy with the warm weather.
This bird was looking around, as if annoyed because we were intruding on it's peaceful afternoon.
Two cute little girls were putting shells in their buckets. :)

I love the seashore. Even when there's nothing to do, you can always have a walk at water's edge. I may have to move!
I think I would be a little upset at some snowbirds and teeny boppers traipsing through my beach also, if I were that seagull. After all, its there all year long.
I am a retired, grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island.
My blog was created to share some of the beauty I see around me each day. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular. I will post pictures now and then, that I snap quickly with my cellphone.
Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy my adventures and come back to visit often.

Looks like all that rain washed the sky clean and bright.
Glad it stopped raining and warmed up a bit!
