Last night was still chilly at 47 degrees, but today the temperature reached 70 for a while. Woo~Hoo, much better! I was a little late going to the beach this afternoon and when I stepped out onto the beach at West Gulf Drive Resident Access 7, around 5 PM, I realized it was already chilly near the water again. The wind was out of the WSW with gusts up to 11 mph. It's supposed to gradually get a little warmer each day this week, but we have a chance of rain in the mix, as well. Anyway you look at it, it's an improvement. :)

It's warming up in No. Central FL as well, bit by bit. What a bizarre and bitter winter.
I know what you mean - it was quite cold to camp there. We are just so used to the heat! I'm living in Tampa but we try to get to Sanibel as often as possible. However, our big trip is always in August when the bugs are out of control!
You live in such a great place - thanks for the comment :)
I am a retired, grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island.
My blog was created to share some of the beauty I see around me each day. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular. I will post pictures now and then, that I snap quickly with my cellphone.
Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy my adventures and come back to visit often.
