It was another beautiful day on Sanibel. The streets are nearly empty, after being a little busy during the Labor Day, holiday weekend. The temperature got up to 93 at one point today; the low last night being 77. There wasn't much wind today, but this evening at the beach there was a light northwest breeze. There were a few small shells left at high tide lines, but I didn't see anything coming in. The water was very calm. The water temperature was 87.
The photos and video were taken at resident access 3, off West Gulf Drive.
I am a retired, grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island.
My blog was created to share some of the beauty I see around me each day. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular. I will post pictures now and then, that I snap quickly with my cellphone.
Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy my adventures and come back to visit often.
