This was taken yesterday on West Gulf Beach.
I'm still getting reports from residents, telling me that the island is REALLY busy again this week. They say the traffic is worse than they have ever seen it. So much for the economy keeping people from their vacations, huh? :-)

Yes, your friends are right. Traffic is horrible!!!!! Both ways!!!!! It kind of just exploded on Saturday.
I can understand why people would want to come there. After seeing your pictures I would like to visit myself!

Since I was one on vacation there, yes the traffic was awful. We quickly learned the strategic times to avoid periwinkle and just stay at the condo...ahhh the beach...no traffic there :)
