Since I posted a photo of Lexie in his Christmas finery, on my Camera Critters blog this week, several have asked if there was a video of the whole ordeal. No, there isn't, but there is a slide show, so I thought I would post it here :-)
This is the slide show of Lexie's 2007 photo shoot for his Christmas picture. It was quite a long procedure. He thought it was sooo much fun to shake his head to send the hat flying, everytime I put it on him. He had no problem with the scrunchy around his neck and he loved standing on the Ho Ho Ho. It involved two people with lots of patience, one with the camera and the other getting him in position and playing pick up with the hat.
He was rewarded for a job well done, with lots of attention after.

What a cutie!
Very good job. It brought a smile to my face and brought back some good memories. I remeber it wasn't an easy photo shoot and I'm really glad that you didn't get bit (-:
Thanks for the "out takes" with your parrot. Patience needed but fun I'm sure. Good to see the places with Christmas lights too, Tootie. - Dave
Thank you so much! This was lovely and you made a great job of it! I enjoyed watching it. BTW Lexie is really very beautiful!
Have a great holiday together.
Aw, I loved that. I'm with Gary, I'm glad you didn't get bit but what a great picture. Lexie, you are definitely a cutie. Merry Christmas to all three of you.
I'm not sure who is more patient -- Lexie or the humans. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Your efforts were well worth it and I echo the 'glad you didn't get bit' remarks. Lexie really is a good boy to end a marathon session like that with a kiss!
(p.s. Love your choice of song, too!)
That was amazing...I watched it on 'full screen' - the song was great and Lexie is so beautiful...er, I mean handsome! :D
Merry Christmas Lexie!
And Merry Christmas to Lexus!!!
Pretty Bird!! Pretty Bird!!! I didn't know you had a bird, Tootie!! He's lovely! And oh so cute in the suit!!I'll have to show the slide show to Samantha in the AM!! Thanks for sharing! And have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
She is an umbrella. The slide show. brought tears to my eyes. I lost Merlyn in march of 2000 She had a siezier. Sorry can't spell the word. We had a blue and gold, gray. And others. But they were my last 3. Alex we for a good home is St. Louis before we moved. And Digger the gray is now with a parrot show. And a wonderful man near the lake area here. The house we are in now. can not get warm enough to keep them healthy. And I could not get pretty boy here. That is what Alex ate. I so miss them. But it is so quiet. They could raise the roof at times. They were all spoiled. I will have to find there photos and post them some day.
By for now.
Samantha loved the slide show, Tootie. She was very amazed by your Lexie! Thanks again for sharing!! Happy Holidays!!
