I am a retired, grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island.
My blog was created to share some of the beauty I see around me each day. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular. I will post pictures now and then, that I snap quickly with my cellphone.
Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy my adventures and come back to visit often.

Barb, I'm really glad you enjoy it. I just put things here that I used to look for myself, before I moved here.
Scrap Cat, The photo was taken from one of the causeway islands at sunset.
Okay, when we arrived we were in such a hurry to get onto the Island we only stopped on one of the causeway islands to take some sunset pics. Then we NEVER left the Island until it was time to fly home!! NEXT year (!!!) we will have to explore the causeway islands a little bit more!
LOL! THAT sign would go PERFECT in my *new* completed kitchen!!! You really ARE in Paradise! I'm just pretending... but I'm a GOOD pretender!
It's Sunday. I just figured out where you were this afternoon. No wonder you haven't posted!! I think I will add Snowbird to my daily haunts! You all have too much fun!!
And I, for one, am so happy that you enjoy every moment in your paradise. ;)
