There were few shells and few people, even though it seems there are more tourists on the island this week. I'm attributing that to some of the schools being out on a fall break.

Sun Dipped Thursday
After racing to get out on the beach before the sunset, I only captured the sky just as the sun dipped under :-) the water. The sky really did have a different look to it and a nice cool wind was blowing, so it was a nice evening at resident access #1.
There were few shells and few people, even though it seems there are more tourists on the island this week. I'm attributing that to some of the schools being out on a fall break.

i really hope i can take my 6 and 7 year olds to sanibel island one day- to shell and to meet you too!
