It was cloudy here today. Went to the beach around 4:00, at beach access #6. There was a southeast wind and the waves were bringing some shells in. There were also some shell piles left at a high tide line. Looked as though there had been quite a bit of digging done in those piles. I walked in the water for a while, which felt a little chilly today. That was a surprise! It began sprinkling, so I walked around the edges of some of the shell piles for a while. Just before I left, I found a couple of tiny juvenile horse conchs. Woo~Hoo, I love those! As one of my friends says, 'any day is a good day, when you find a mac-n-cheese'. That's what she calls them, because of the color. :-) The temperature seemed cooler because it was cloudy and windy, making it a very nice evening to walk on the beach.
