Dramatic Sanibel Skies and Family Fun

It's been a while, so thought I would catch up with what has been going on in our lives lately.
After the Fourth of July excitement was over two of the Grands, Grant and Amanda arrived for a visit.

Being the rainy season here, you know you are going to see a lot of cloudy photos!
This is the sight that welcomed the kids to Sanibel.  Of course, the rain didn't last long, only a few minutes.

Next evening we drove over to Ft Myers.

A couple days later, we crossed the causeway again, and saw rainbows.

On a return this was the view...
There was rain everywhere but on the island.

What do you do when the power goes out?
Well...candle light dominoes, of course!

We went on a shopping trip or two...
and, saw beautiful clouds on the way!

There were some very ominous looking ones, just as we turned near the shopping mall.  Luckily the clouds and rain passed quickly.

There have been beautiful evening sunsets....

Beautiful cloud filled days....

A little rain now and then....

Lots of boating fun!

Some jumping into the water to cool off....

Close encounters with rain clouds....

But, we survived it all and had a great time!

After tons of fun, there has been some napping....

Puffin isn't always happy when his friend wants to get up.

More rainbows!!!

And sunsets.....

Grant had to leave after staying about 10 days,
but Amanda is still here. :)

Another shopping trip and lunch at the Bahama Breeze,
where we sat and watched it rain for a few minutes.

Another boating day!

Fun with friends!

The fun continues....
along with beautiful weather and smooth water.
