Sanibel Christmas Past

Part 2:

Christmas Eve Day we had to say goodbye to Blake & Brooke.  We had such a fun time with them, it was hard to see them go.

It helped make it a little easier because Blake & Brooke were leaving on the same plane that just brought my Daughter, Donna and her two children, Grant and Amanda.  (Thankfully we weren't stuck with an empty nest for Christmas Day!)

The airport was filled with folks arriving for Christmas.  A few of them seemed quite jolly!
Especially the fella, in black, hiding behind that mask (glasses, nose and whiskers), who said,
 "Ho, ho, ho" to me.

The bags were gathered up quickly
and we were off!

They were very excited to feel the warm, salty air and see the island again.

We had a Merry Christmas Eve at
Tween Waters Inn, for dinner.

Tween Waters Inn Christmas lights,
sure are festive.

The kids were loving the stroll through Christmas lights, wearing shorts.

Donna had a laugh, at a Snowman
 in a tropical paradise.

We went for a drive through Captiva's Village
 to see the Christmas Deco.

I just loved all of the snowflakes floating around.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve.
part 3 coming soon

It is wonderful that you had family visiting for Christmas Day. The Christmas lights are beautiful. I think I would enjoy seeing Christmas lights when I could wear shorts as well.
