Sanibel's Rays of Sunshine & Breezes

What brings you joy?

There are many things that bring me joy, most of all, my family.  But as a lot of you know, Sanibel Island is also high on my list.

Today we made a trip to Ft Myers and on the way back, the rays of sunshine gave me joy.
One of the most beautiful sights is looking at the sky above the palms.

Sun rays always make me feel closer to God and gives me a sense of connectedness
to loved ones I've lost.

I always get a joyful feeling
as we near the entrance to Sanibel.

Some dark clouds were hovering overhead, but we didn't get a drop of rain on our street.

After seeing all of the amazing clouds, we decided to drive back out to the Sanibel Causeway to relax and watch the sunset.
I know....I just did that yesterday evening,  but you can never see too many sunrises or sunsets. :)  And of course, every one is different.

Watching a pod of dolphins swimming by,
feeling warm rays of sunshine, and a cool breeze, followed by a beautiful sunset,
makes a perfect ending to any day.

I always got a lot of joy watching a sunset on Sanibel. I don't think there is any prettier place on earth to watch a sunset. I feel connected to those I've lost when I see all the wonderful cloud formations that God gives us too! xo Diana

I think it takes a pretty beautiful soul to stop and watch the clouds go by. Many of us forget the simple pleasures in life...good for you for remembering them. :)

Thanks again for sharing your beautiful photos! I feel the same way about sun rays. I imagine being able to climb right up to heaven on one. Someday... I will!
