Happy Sanibel Days

Our weather the last couple of days has been very nice. :)  We've had sunshine, once again, along with some beautiful clouds.  The temperature has been 80's during the day and 70's at night.  Friday we could see rain in the distance, but we didn't get any at the house.

I haven't shown you my baby for a while, and he's grown another couple of pounds. :)

He has found a new, favorite spot.

He likes to sit and look out the front door, watching car and bike traffic, joggers, birds, and especially the tiny little lizards running on the deck.

I made him a cushion to sit on so that he would be tall enough to see out better.

I think he is also standing guard, or sitting guard. :)

This was the view as we made our way across the Sanibel Causeway on Friday afternoon.  There was a huge rainbow that reached from the Sanibel Lighthouse to Ft Myers Beach.  In a short time it turned into a double one.

Oh my goodness! Your little man is growing up...lol!

Those clouds are amazing. It is almost as if you could reach up and touch them! And that rainbow? Just breathtaking. =)

Puffin is so darned cute, Tootie! I'm so glad that you've been having a nice summer down on my fav island. :) It's been VERY tropical-like up here in MI this summer. Hot and humid. But a cool front went through today and it's beginning to feel like autumn all of a sudden. Loved seeing your photos of the rain and rainbows. Hugs to you, sweetie!

This must be the year for rainbows - I've never seen as many as I have this year and so far many doubles!
