Warmer, Sunny Sanibel Sunday

Since we hadn't been to the Lighthouse Beach for a while, we went there this afternoon.  The parking lot was nearly full, with only a few spaces left.  There was quite a variation of clothing choices worn by beach goers today.  Some had bathing suits, bikinis, swimming trunks, shorts, t shirts, long pants and long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts and even light weight jackets.  I saw some people covered up with beach towels and some in bathing suits laying under a blanket.  For me, on this 70 degree afternoon, Bermuda shorts and 3/4 length sleeve t shirt was perfect.  Oops, forgot I was also wearing a dog in a bag accessory. :)

There didn't appear to be many great shells, but they were a little thicker in some areas and by looking closely, I found a few little tiny minis.  Some drills, augers and a painted egg shell cockle.

Hey, Tootie...
Thanks for stopping by my beachsnaps blog and commenting on simple daisy's jewelry. You were wondering what kind of metal she uses when she makes them...sterling silver. I was surprised at how delicate her jewelry actually is...her photography makes them look chunky but they aren't at all!

Ahhhh. Just what I needed to see and read today to give me a little peace in a stressful day. I can almost hear the waves crashing. =)

It's nice that your climate is still warm enough to allow you to walk along the beach Tootie - Dave
