Sanibel's Warmth and Humidity

The humidity has really been high the last couple of days. Last night, at 97%, water was dripping from the trees in our yard and everything was wet.  Early this morning it was foggy and later we got 0.08" of rain.  It cleared after that and the temperature reached 76 degrees.  The humidity is 95% again tonight.  But, you gotta love a warm, humid winter! :)

Driving down Periwinkle Way today, I noticed that there had been some work done on the McT's Shrimp House building.  Parts in the front and one side have been torn out.  It's nice to see progress being made there.

This evening we went to Gulfside City Park to watch the sunset and go for a little walk.  There were a lot of people in the area of Ocean's Reach Condos.

If you enlarge the photo you will see just how many people enjoy watching the sunset.

As we got back home, I could see the full moon was on it's way up. :)

Great photos Tootie. I enjoyed your two sunset shots, and the one showing people sitting on the beach. It's a nice time of day to do that and is a time of peace and relaxation I think - Dave

Hi Tootie,
I was on East Gulf Tuesday for sunset and saw the full moon rise over the Lighthouse. We were dripping from the fog as it rolled in too. Just another day in paradise.

Take good care,

Karen

I don't think it's possible to beat a beautiful sunset and a full moon rise in one excursion. Thanks for the wonderful pictures.

Warm and humid sounds delightful. So much easier on aching joints. A nice sunset helps, too.

Those warm and humid nights on Sanibel just magnify the sweet scent that that island is embraced with. Warm, sweet, earthy, oceany....

{sigh}......

Less than 80 days til I can feel the sand between my toes... :)
