Over Sanibel Bridges to the Mall We Go!

Shopping, shopping, shopping!  That's what I've been doing for the last few days, online and out with the other holiday shoppers.  I have to say that the best places to shop without the usual crowds are the shops here on the island and also the Tanger Outlet Mall, across the bridge.  It was a perfect afternoon for it, sunny and around 65.  I had a sweatshirt on and by mid-afternoon it was a little too warm.

On the way back across the Sanibel Causeway, the sun was going down behind some clouds that actually looked like snow covered mountains in the distance.

I  love it when the pelicans meet you as you return.

After coming home, I realized I should have gotten something else that I saw at the Tanger Outlet Mall, so that meant another trip back.  I enjoyed the pretty Christmas lights.

This isn't a great picture, since I took it as we drove past, but it shows a few of the beautiful big palm trees that have been planted at the restaurant in Bailey's Center at the end of Periwinkle and Tarpon Bay Rd.  The asphalt was completely taken up in front and new landscaping is being done.  Can't wait for the opening of George & Wendy's Corner Grill, hopefully soon.

THIS just in.....  :) ....Uughh!!

Good for you for shopping. I haven't done anything. Seems my funds keep getting drained by the daily needs of five kids! I'd love to go to the Nike Factory Story. So lucky you are to have places to shop!
