Sanibel's Sweet November

This is a sweet November so far.  The low temperature last night was 60 and the high was 79 today with a cool breeze.  It just doesn't get better than that, for me.  We went to the beach at resident access 5 on West Gulf Drive around 5 this evening.  It was quiet and peaceful, not many shells, but perfect anyway.

There are a lot of activities going on in November to welcome back our Snowbirds, I suspect. :)  Here's another one if you are looking for evening entertainment:

Florida Repertory Theatre announced Third Thursday Theatre Night, a brand new package for its neighbors on Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

Beginning on Nov. 18 with the hit comedy, Noises Off, Florida Rep will bring a bus from Sanibel Island to the beautiful Fort Myers River District for a night on the town and an evening of theatre at its finest for just one low price.

The evening begins on Sanibel Island at Sweet Melissa's Cafe (1625 Periwinkle Way), where pre-show dinner reservations are available - though not included in the price. The bus will depart at 6:30pm from Sweet Melissa's, and will arrive at the Historic Arcade Theatre in the beautifully restored Fort Myers River District just in time for the 8pm performance. The $49 per person admission price includes bus transportation and a ticket to the critically acclaimed production of Noises Off.    FULL ARTICLE....

The first two weeks of November were pretty pleasant up here as well, but it has turned cold and rainy. But we didn't have this nice beach to go along with our good weather.
