Sanibel Holiday Spirit

This is the view from the beach at Pointe Santo late this afternoon.

The holiday spirit is running rampant on the island!  The Christmas flamingos are flying out of Bailey's General Store.

That was one happy bird! :)  He was bobbing his head up and down, as he rode down Periwinkle Way.

A bright red bow on this little scoot coup, would look very festive!

Those are too fun and that little car is just adorable. It doesn't look much bigger then a motorcycle side car. Now going down the road with a flamingo in one of those would be sure to catch attention.

I have just found your blog and love seeing all the pictures of the island. My husband and I spent our honeymoon at South Seas Plantation on Captiva 28 years ago. I still have the receipt and all the shells i collected. There was a storm the week prior to our visit and the beach was coverd with shells. It is a lovely place and I hope to get back there some day. In the mean time, I will enjoy visiting again via your blog, I've followed you and linked to you at my blog. Thank you so much for sharing. :-)
