Pointe Santo de Sanibel Visit

A little over a week ago, we had a visit from family, who stayed at Pointe Santo.  That same week an internet friend, from Arizona, also came to stay at the same place.  We have gotten pretty well acquainted over the past couple of years.  Year before last, I arranged to meet her and took a bag of assorted shells to give to her daughter.  They loved them and that made me happy. :)  They are a lovely family and I liked them instantly.
Sadly, this time we just couldn't get time arranged to get together.  The last evening of their stay, I ran by to talk to them for a few minutes.  I got them to pose for one quick photo, even though they had been out all day and thought they were not in top form.  Last second before the shot, Samantha had to make a dash to get her hat, that's why we were laughing.  I know inside they were actually sad because they had to leave the next morning.

Sheri's online name is Little Black Scrap Cat.  You will see why, when you look at the gift she brought to me.  It was so sweet.  She knew about my little Great Grandson coming to visit and thought I could use the scrapbook she made, for pictures of the family visit.

I have seen Sheri's scrapping work on her blog and she has made some of the cutest books ever!  Take a look at her blog and you can share in all of the things they did while on vacation here.  They didn't miss much. :)  I can only imagine the scrapbook she will make from their beautiful vacation photos.

The photos below are for you, Sheri and Samantha.  Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

A look on the beach at Pointe Santo today, shows the small amount of visitors this week.

Shells were a little sparse.

A Sand Dune or Sand Mountain???

Thanks for the tip...I will check out her blog today. I love the mound of sand at the end...it always makes me want to curl my toes into the sand once again! Hugs- Diana

I'm glad you like the book, Tootie. It was so nice to see you. Thanks for the Pointe Santo pictures. I think we hit the right time to be there for the shelling as the beach does look pretty bare of both people and shells. I'm already dreaming of next year. We will definitely be coming back to the PS condos. Same time next year!! I just wish we could swing a two week stay, but Sam only has one week of. I guess I'll be thankful for that at least!!

How fun that you got to see Sheri and her daughter even if only for a minute. I would love to meet them as well. The beach looks so inviting especially with very few people (I'm not much in to crowds).

LOVE coming here! What a wonderful scrap book from your friend.
When I see your pics, it makes me long for our trip to Sanibel in the spring.
Hugs.
