Stormy Sanibel Evening

Today was a hot one, in the low 90's again, with very high humidity.  I wanted to go check out the beach, but didn't think I could take the heat.  By the time evening rolled around, so were the clouds.  So, we just made a quick dash out to the Sanibel Causeway, which was closer than the beach, incase it started storming.  It started sprinkling rain just as we reached the causeway.  But, as usual, the sunset was worth it.  The wind from those dark clouds quickly cooled things off.  We had another short rain this afternoon and all total we got a little over a 1/4".

Beautiful! I love to watch the storms come in...especially at sunset. The skies are so interestingly gorgeous!

Even storming your skies and sunsets are amazing. It's just so darned big! I loved it when we were in Sarasota at the beach seven years ago. I sure hope I get your way again some day.
