Lazy Sanibel Saturday

I had a bad case of the lazies nearly all day. I feel so blessed to be able to spend days like this. I was even rewarded by going out for dinner. The sad part of that was going to McT's Shrimp House, knowing tonight is the last night. It is closing. :( So, you could say, we had our last supper, and it was very good. We will definitely miss this place.

Later, anticipating another special sunset, we drove out to a Sanibel Causeway island again. I'm sorry if you get tired of seeing them here on my blog, and perhaps they all look about the same. But, every sunset seems special to me, because I'm thankful that I've had one more wonderful day in my life.

My pictures are not very good, but I hope they, at least, leave you feeling sunny. :)

I think your pictures are very good. The rich color in all of them is wonderful, but I really like this second one with the palm trees in the foreground.

The palm trees are a nice touch to the photos. It looks like the new plantings are hanging in there. The causeway seems like a perfect spot to see to the ends of the earth.

Hi Toots! I had to stop by again to just gaze at your photos....You don't mind, do you? lol! Sanibel is so much a part of me, I sometimes wonder how I even get through the year before I sink my toes in her sand once again. I mourn for her al year long. So I'm still rejoicing in your beautiful pics of her beaches and palms, the ocean, and your enviable life there. :) Have a great day!
