A Calm Sanibel Wednesday

It's been another perfect day here. The traffic is lighter this week and the bike paths are not crowded. The temperature got up to 81 today, sunny and low humidity. It was a little windy, but that is a minor thing.

We went to the beach this afternoon off West Gulf Drive, at resident access 7. There were quite a few people on the beach, but nothing like there was during the past several weeks.

Now that's the 'Good Life'.

Shelling wasn't good while we were there, but that doesn't dampen my spirits any.

The water looks so clear & the sand so white, looks like a great time to visit :)Thank you for posting Tootie. You really keep me up to date on so much that is happening on the island :)Glad the crowds are getting smaller too.

I could sure stand to be there right now, and not here. Spending a lot of time sitting at hospital. Just taking a few minutes this AM to check things out before we get moving for the day.

Isn't it wonderful to have ROOM on the roads and beaches again! I love our tourists each year, but I also LOVE when they return to their homes and the crowds die down...especially on the roads.

I love seeing those Blue Dolphin umbrellas. Looking forward to heading back in May.
