A Nice Sanibel Sunday

Our low temperature was 78 last night and back up to 93 today and sunny. I took a few photos on the return trip to the island, from dinner overseas. The quality is bad because they were taken while driving across the Sanibel Causeway. But, they are good enough for you to see just how calm the water was. I had just missed the sunset, but the sky was still very pretty colors. There was a big, dark cloud over the Pine Island area that had rain pouring down from it.

You probably don't check on my Treasures of the Sea blog frequently. So, I just want to mention that I posted a link on it, to some very beautiful miniature shell crafting and also a story about Florida's Hidden House of Shells. Go take a look!

Great pics, Tootie. We missed the actual sunset as well. Went down to watch, but the noseeums were so bad we didn't stay on the beach. I took a few shots (one on my blog)and we headed for cover!! I looks like a pox victim!! But now I've met Reggie at Island Pharmacy and he has helped me out tremendously!!
