Sanibel Friday Sunset

After meeting friends at The Island Pizza, it was sprinkling rain. So we didn't make the planned beach visit, but went out to a causeway island to catch the sunset, instead. The temperature got up to 91 degrees today but had already cooled down to the low 80's at sunset, with cool wind to keep the noseeums away. You can see rain coming down from one of the clouds that was hanging over the island, but there were no raindrops falling at the causeway.

For those of you that have an interest in watching loggerhead hatchlings coming out of their nest, I just put a link on my Turtle Talk blog to a video from a live turtle cam.

Hi Tootie, How's life at Sanibel??? Looks like everything is as pretty as ever. Thanks for the turtle link. I will check that one out.

Your sunset pictures and video are great. I would love to be there on that beach to see that...

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Thank you for your visit and your beautiful comment.
The day we visited Sanibel Island was a perfect day but we had to leave early to go back home to Boca. So we didn't see many places but, lucky me, i have you to show me what i missed.
