Wednesday Sanibel Beach Time

The visiting friends shared photos taken at resident access 6, off West Gulf Drive, this afternoon and evening. They said it was PERFECT! The water was pretty clear, a beautiful aquamarine color and there was enough breeze to keep them cool. The cloudy sky was interesting to watch, as clouds seemed to surround the island, but left an opening for the sunshine, directly above them. Their fishing report was also good. Before leaving the beach, they watched an awesome sunset.

Their pirate kite was flying high.

By evening, they had this section of beach all to themselves.

This is one fish, the fisherman didn't get. :-)

The shore birds were very entertaining today too.

An army of little birds marched back and forth with the waves. It's surprising that they don't run into one another.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful thoughts of your day on this beautiful island paradise.
We spend two weeks a year trying to capture what your daily life must be like. I do have the fortune of spending a week in Sept by myself, no hubby, no kids, no grandkids, just enjoying the beach, sky, gulf, my treasured shells and maybe a smile from a passing stranger.
I so enjoy reading your postings, it makes me feel that much closer to your island paradise.
Maybe, if you are on the beach one day you'll be the one I notice with a smile..
Enjoy your paradise!

Beautiful pictures, Tootie. I love seeing the kites over the water. The last two sunset ones are incredible.

If you get a chance, check out my blog posts (yesterday's and today's). I wrote "MY" story --and you might want to read it.
Hugs,
Betsy
