Thursday.....Still Missing Grand Kids

The photos are from Resident Access #6, off West Gulf Drive this evening. It sure is strange going to the beach without kids along. I talked to them today and they are all having Sanibel withdrawal now.

There were beautiful big, fluffy, white clouds all day. The high temperature was 94, but this evening it was pretty nice on the beach. The water was 88 degrees, calm and relaxing, just walking along listening to the gentle lap of the waves. The tide was out and a lot of sand was exposed. There were small shells scattered in places, but I only picked up a few to take home.

Some cyber shelling for you .....

There were not many people on the beach, but the ones I saw were walking in the water, looking for shells.

Clear water was running through this little trench, so I stood there watching for shells and thinking of my friend Steinbeck, who loves digging in these places. :-)

A look close up.

Then.....there was a Junonia seed. :-)

So that's where Junonias come from. Gee, I'm going to have to take my "seeds" out and plant them. LOL

Snowbird let me know if they sprout. :-)

Tammy, I find a piece once in a while, but I don't collect so I don't pick it up. It should be here for you. :-)
