A Sanibel Sunday

Spent time with the kids today, because the last group of six is leaving tomorrow. :-( Laundry is all done. They have all their things together, so they will have time to do a little something tomorrow before they have to leave.

Part of them went to Pointe Santo to spend time with friends that they made there. After dinner at the Sanibel Grill, we drove to West Gulf Drive and Resident Access #2. There had been some threatening clouds passing by, but we got no rain. The temperature got up to 92 today with the water temp at 90. The water was pretty clear this evening and you could see shells laying on the bottom. The waves were breaking out on a sandbar. There were people out walking in the shallow water, looking for shells.

I could just lose myself on those peaceful beaches... Looks like you had the place to yourself. Love that.

Do you collect shells? I love to, althought hey get fewer and fewer every year.

I know it will be hard to say good bye. Time passes so quickly. Hang in there.
