Clouds, Water, & the Moon

Over the bridges and a shopping we did go! Sorry, but there are more cloud photos. First one as we were starting out on the first bridge.

Second one is while looking to the right, toward Ft Myers Beach.

Third one is looking further to the right and toward the lighthouse. The big clouds, once again seemed to be gathering around the island on the south and east sides. A few miles on the other side of the causeway, the clouds began to look darker and I thought it would rain, but we only felt a few sprinkles while going in and out shopping.

A while after we got back, I took Grand Daughter to resident access 2. There was some manatee grass coming in and some left at the high tide line. It was only in places and really not enough to be much of a problem. There weren't any good shells that I saw, mostly small pieces. It got up to 88 degrees today, but it didn't seem that bad with wind from the SE.

The moon is in this picture and you can tell it isn't long until it is full again.

Sunset from the causeway this evening.

I want to walk along that beach and dip my toes in the water. That's one thing I miss out in Washington state. Warm water and sandy beaches.

Hi Tootie, Sanibel Island is a true paridise. I love the Gulf and have enjoyed shelling there. I bet its great after a storm has washed them up on the beach.
Your blog photos are wonderful!

Those clouds would be spectacular even if they were inland. But seeing them hanging there over the gulf is just MAGNIFICENT! That is GLORIOUS! ... it's a gift... that's what it is.
