Sanibel Sunday On The Beach

Today was sunny and 82 degrees with a nice breeze that made it feel cooler than that. A visit to a West Gulf beach at resident access 7, revealed less shells than yesterday. It was still fun looking through them for small shells anyway. Some of you know Ms Snowbird, and she was there before me. So, she probably carried off the better ones. :-)) I hope so anyway. Before going to the beach I talked to her on the cell phone and she was at access 7, and told me that there weren't as many shells as she saw on my blog last night. :-) I imagine folks in that vicinity that had done lots of walking on the beach earlier today, found some nice shells though. It takes more effort to find them, than I have put forth lately. It was a wonderful day to just relax on the beach.

I'm guessing that the shells are gathering off shore, and will be coming in during the month of May. That will please all of you people who are coming next month. Don't forget your shell bags! :-)

If I could get some cheap tickets and a reasonable place to stay, I'd be there at the end of May!! Shell bag in hand!!

How did you guess? Yup, I got all of the good ones--not. I did get a few though, including the cutest littlest Baby's Ear I've ever seen. Got a nice Shark's Eye too. So, the ears and eyes were the finds of the day. I did run into Cheryl so I'm sure what I didn't get, she did!

Hi Tootie! I am so glad you posted on my blog! We love Sanibel and will be returning on May 23 for a much needed vacation. We do stay at the beautiful Pointe Santo. My son got married last June on the beach at Pointe Santo. I will be spending lots of time checking out your blog! Take care!
