Sanibel Thursday

I know you are probably tired of hearing about perfect days, but you guessed it, this was another one! :-) The high was 78 with SE wind.

I have photos taken on the beach, this evening, at resident access 1, off West Gulf Drive. Even though it was still around 70 degrees, the wind made it feel pretty chilly, and I didn't stay long. There were pretty large waves, because of a weak cold front passing through, but hardly any shells coming in. In the high tide line, I saw plenty of kitten paws, so I picked up a pocket full of those and went home, happy!

This one's for you Betsy! These are kitten paws. :-)

I'm NEVER tired of hearing of perfect days. I actually have them most of the time, but I don't now, so it's nice to see one somewhere else.

Wonderful photos and I enjoyed the video. Never knew those shells were called Kitty Paws before. But there they are, kitty paws!

A few years ago I vacationed down on South Padre' Island, Texas -- across that wide expanse of water you live on! I was absolutely amazed by what the locals considered "large" waves down there! Krysti & I actually only went swimming in the gulf TWICE while we were there - because the waves were just so little! LOL! We had more fun hanging out in the pool - by the bar! And ya know what? You get ALL the shells on YOUR side! LOL! I wonder why THAT is!
