Slow Sunday

I was moving very slow today. Still not feeling great. It was warm and sunny and I kept thinking of things I wanted to do, but just couldn't get up the energy to do any of them. So, I spent most of the afternoon and tonight, writing out a list of my favorite things to do on Sanibel, places I like to eat, shop, etc. I still need to add more and then send it to someone who's coming here next week.

About 10 PM, went to the Grill for a sandwich and watched the last part of a football game. They had a few more Christmas decorations added since I was there last, so I took a few more pictures. I also added a couple of my own wreaths. :-)

By the way, it's darned chilly here tonight, 51 degrees. And the night isn't over yet. Eeeek!

A Sanibel night! How could you not love that view?

So, no crawling yesterday huh? Mr. Snowbird said that you called soon after I left to go out to the Sanctuary. Maybe next week????

Again, I love/hate you :)

You need to do a blog post about Doc Fords. That's our place to go when we visit. Hubby lost his Doc Ford baseball cap and for Christmas this year I'm getting him a new one, if they will send one.

Fish taco's....The BEST in the world are at Doc Fords.

So, Toot and Snow, think about what time will be good -- I will try to call sometime tomorrow (how early is too early?!)

Let's see - we love The Grill, the Lighthouse Cafe (best breakfast, in my opinion) and Grandma Dots. We also love the Mucky Duck and the Bubble Room on Captiva. My favorite shop on the island is Three Crafty Ladies - but that's because I love that stuff. I keep threatening my husband that I'm going to quit my job, buy the store and move to Sanibel for good. :) Thanks for visiting my blog.

I DO love that view! That Sanibel grill must have the best food in town -- cuz you DO like that place a lot!

Glad you're feelin' a bit better now.
