This evening there was a going away party to attend, a couple of miles off the island at a place called Yabo. There were around 35 people there and it was a fun evening with great champagne and good food.
Going over the causeway, I could see that the water was a little choppy and the tide was out pretty far. It was just before dark and there were still some people fishing.
Some friends had called earlier to say they had a great shelling day on a west gulf beach.
It is supposed to get chilly tonight. At 11 PM, it is 52 degrees.
