Christmas Day on Sanibel Island

I left Sanibel for a few days to spend Christmas Day with family, in cold weather. Brrr! But, I have friends who are keeping me updated on the warm temperatures there and also on the amount of shells on the beach. :-) I had several multimedia messages with pictures of the beach, where they spent Christmas afternoon. I have videos to post, so that you can enjoy it too.

You should be able to watch these in HD and full screen, by clicking on Youtube and going there to view them.

This one shows shells washing out.

I'm so glad that "Your Friends" could keep you posted on the warm weather in paradise while you were freezing your A_S off here in the midwest! I enjoyed the videos with the sound of the waves and the shells rolling around :)

How could you leave this to go where it's cold? I hope you had a great Christmas.

cold weather is ok, but i've decided that warm weather is much better! we dont have snow in the town, although temperatures do drop, but i prefer to see the snow on the mountains rather than worry about it near me!

ღ Lucky you that you can live in such a beautiful spot.
I always wanted to go to Sanibel, but never did...my parents live in Melbourne Beach...that is quite on the other side of FL.

We have -30 today in town, -10 at my house...the beach is looking pretty good! Hope you had a great Christmas with Becky. You know, that's an awful lot of shells...do you suppose a guy could collect enough to glue all over an old car? I think that sounds like something my kids would do!

Tootie, although I used to live in Ohio and Indiana, I now live on the Cumberland Plateau near Crossville, Tennessee.

Hey Tootie, just taking an evening to check in with all my friends while I freeze my butt off here in NY. Can't wait to get back to Florida and get warm again! Nothing like winter in the north, keeps us humble and grateful ;)

See you next weekend, I hope -
