Lots of Socializing

Today the plan was to meet up with friends for lunch and a few pool bar hops. Friends came in from California yesterday evening and they wanted to join us.

The weather was beautiful today. Lots of bright sunshine and a strong, cool breeze. Rain was forecast for today, but the huge fluffy white clouds just came over to add to the tropical beauty.

We started out with lunch at Biddle's Bucket, on the corner of Periwinkle and Tarpon Bay Rd, around 1:30. We each had something different to eat and everyone was very happy with their choice of food. We spent a lot of time there visiting.

Next stop was at CasaYbel's Coconuts. Danny Morgan was entertaining when we arrived. There was also a wedding on the beach there this afternoon. Again, lots of time was spent there with plenty of laughter. More people joined us there. There were 10 of us.

Last stop was at Westwind Inn. Just after our arrival, the sun was going down. We all went out on the beach to watch and take pictures. Two more people joined us there and we had more chatting and lots of laughing. It was very nice sitting in the cool breeze watching lights changing the pool water from one color to another. Before leaving we all agreed that we would do this again next week.

Pretty blooming tree in parking area at Casa Ybel.

Awwwwwwww man! I used to HAVE that Lunchy kinda life! I used to DO that! Sometimes it even revolved around the water - the Chesapeake Bay - it's still pretty water! Seems like eons ago now... but really it was only a year ago! I really do miss it... but I guess I'll have it back again one day! As they say... this too shall pass! You're so blessed! (have I told ya that recently?) LOL!

The video was a nice touch. I was able to close my eyes and almost be there with you all! I don't think I would ever get tired of walking that beach. You are very fortunate!
