Rainy Sunday

Actually, even though it rained lightly most of the day, it was still a nice one. The temperature was around 75 to 77 and if you were quick, could have gotten in a beach walk at different times today. I just didn't make the effort to get out on the beach because I knew I would probably just manage to get my cell phone wet. That is not a good thing because I've already ruined two that way.

I did go out for a quick drive to Jerry's (grocery) and while out, I snapped a few pictures of some things I enjoy looking at, everytime I pass by them. This seems a good time to share them with you.

I love all the Agave angustifolia (Variegated Caribbean Agave) at this home on Albatross.


I like this tree on Donax, near Periwinkle. It is one of the small number of tall trees that has survived on the island.


This sailboat was anchored out from the end of Bailey Rd, I thought it was a pretty sight with the causeway as a background.


The trees here at the entrance to the Dunes, are very pretty. When the flowers are blooming, it is even more beautiful.


I love these huge trees on Bailey Rd.


This is a photo I took on one of the Turtle Walks. I asked then, if anyone knew what the name of this cactus was. I got no reply, so thought I would try once again. I think it is so pretty with the huge star shaped flowers.



I never go outside, here on Sanibel, without noticing all kinds of really beautiful things! These are just a sampling of them.
