Rainy Friday

Rainy Friday

I stayed inside today because it was raining most of the time. I just ran out to get a few groceries; mainly a pie because I was craving one. :-)

While I was out the sun started peeking from behind the clouds. However, I could still see some lightning in the southeast. It was windy all day, but by evening the wind had stopped. The noseeums are out in full force!

There was a man juggling rings, in front of Biddles’ Buckets, and there were quite a few cars in their parking lot; even though there doesn’t seem to be many tourists on the island right now. The streets are not crowded at all. I noticed yesterday evening there were very few cars at Biddles, Timbers, and even the Island Cow had less than usual. :-)

That’s it from here friends. I took just a few pictures when I was out, but can’t tell you about the shelling today, since I didn’t check that out. If the rain stops, maybe I will do that tomorrow.

It's thundering, once more, as I post this.

Enlarge this picture to take a peek at the juggler standing out front. I would have driven up a little closer, but I didn't want him to think I was enjoying it that much. :-)

Great photos! I really like the last one, the way the trees frame the picture. Very cool! ;-)

Happy to see you stopped by and saw Flo and Gracie. My cousin lives in Merritt Isl[??]and had a heck of a time with the hurricane. Lost power...rained for days...Hope it missed you.
